Mere Mortals 2008 season started off with lightning thunder and rain.  But this did not deter 30 athletes from showing up ready to get their training started.  The weather gave up trying to dissuade us and we launched the season in style.  Our second Sunday had 47 hardy athletes show up.  We now have a very diverse field from pure novices to Ironman vets.  Again the weather made us alter plans but we continued in high gear.  Mere Mortals by name but these athletes sure are a determined group.  Thanks from coach Steve and coach Paolo for starting the season off with such enthusiasm and participation.  See you at the beach.
